Hawaii Central Presbyterian Church called Pastor Daniel and his family (wife, Debbie, and their two children) to Hawaii in August 2019 as the English Language Ministry Pastor. Prior to serving HCPC Living Stones, the Jung family has served God's people in Stockton, CA, and in Grand Rapids, MI. Pastor Daniel grew up in the Northern California Bay Area, is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, and received his Master of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. A lifelong sports fan, “PD” loves the 49ers, the Chicago Bulls, and Waianae’s own, Max Holloway. If he’s not doing the Lord’s work at HCPC Living Stones, you can often find Pastor Daniel fishing for that dream Ulua on a beach along the Oahu coastline.

Hi, my name is Hwajin and I’ve been leading praise with the Church for nearly 10 years. l’m a proud dad of three boys, Jayden, Jaron, and Boba (dog). I’m also happily married to my beautiful wife, Hyeyon. I’ve been serving as a Youth Group leader for nearly three years and I love being a part of the Living Stones family. I love to serve by praising because I love Jesus and I want others to know to know how awesome He is.  Praise God!

Aloha everyone! My name is Lena (Jeong Eun) and I am happy that you will get to know me a little more after reading this. Whenever I feel active and adventurous, I enjoy hiking, finding a new hole-in-the-wall restaurant, cruising on the Kailua beach, and watching the sunset. Whenever I feel inactive (haha) I like to stay home, watch documentaries, video-chat with my grandma in Korea, and play with my two cats. Serving in the Living Stones as a youth leader has been a BLESSING! I always look forward to Friday evenings to meet my students, hear about their week, and reflect on God’s word. We almost always have a good time together and end up being the last group to wrap up. Currently I am studying to be a Nurse Practitioner to fulfill my interest in medicine. Every time I learn about our body, I am truly amazed by God’s intricate design and meticulous work in creating us. Eventually, I hope to explore the world and know God more.

Hello~ I am currently a Junior at University of Hawaii at Manoa pursuing a Secondary Education: Mathematics degree. Upon graduating, I would like to stay in Hawaii and teach math at a middle or high school. During my free time I enjoy either spending time with others or catching up on shows. I am currently serving as a Praise Team member for Living Stones EM and a Youth Group teacher for Living Stones Youth. I love serving because I am able to see how God is working in the lives of those around me while also being used for his good works! But also because I love being a part of the Living Stones family <3.

Hello! My name is Eun-Hae Whang and I am one of the youth group teachers here at HCPC Living Stones. I have been enjoying getting to know the students on a deeper level, and being a part of their journey as they continue to grow in their relationships with the Lord. During my free time, I enjoy watching Korean variety shows but my hobbies include hiking and travelling as well. I studied Travel Industry Management as an undergrad and am currently in grad school pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management. I hope to find a HR job within the tourism industry and am looking forward to the day the industry will be thriving once again.

Alex has been serving at HCPC Living Stones as one of the Youth Group leaders in our English Ministry and has shown tremendous determination to helping the next generation and future leaders of this Church. He sacrifices his time for the Church and always looks after others before himself. He exemplifies genuine fellowship within our community and has limitless potential as a servant of God's Kingdom. Alex will succeed in anything he sets his heart and mind to and were excited to have him as a leader and brother of this Church.

Greetings! My name is John; I'm in the military, married to Grace; my beautiful wife, and have two children. It is an honor to serve our youth so they may have a more deeper and fuller relationship with Jesus Christ.

Aloha! I am born and raised here in Honolulu and I recently had the blessing and opportunity to reside in the mainland with my wife (Jane) while pursuing my graduate studies. At an early age, I was drawn to playing sports and so I love everything from being in team competitions to following players and games. I enjoy technical level work and love working with new technologies. Singing music has always been a peaceful place for me - I was given the great privilege to also be a part of the Praise Team here at HCPC LS. It is an honor to praise Him together and bring glory to His name! God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good!
