HCPC Living Stones is the English Language Ministry of Hawaii Central Presbyterian Church and we have the goal of being a church that exists for the transformative gospel of Jesus Christ to be made known and beautiful in Manoa and the greater Honolulu area.
Important Notice: As of today, we welcome you for Sunday worship at our main sanctuary. In light of COVID-19, each person will be required to pass through a temperature check; face masks as with being socially distant are strongly encouraged.
We also will have livestreaming through our YouTube channel for those of us at home wanting to join us for worship. Please check out the link below:
We are a discipling church. We exist to bring glory to God through multigenerational discipleship, where each member of the church is a Living Stone; both a discipler and is being discipled as we are being built into a spiritual house with Jesus Christ as our cornerstone (1 Peter 2:4-10).
We seek to be a house of worship that welcomes ALL who seek communion with God.
We seek to help lead people unto a saving relationship through the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
We seek to be a church that develops real relationships so that in our seeking, community exists through joy-filled lives and the name of Jesus Christ is glorified.
We seek to witness the transformation and renewal of the community in and around Manoa for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Hawaii Central Presbyterian Church called Pastor Daniel and his family (wife, Debbie, and their two children) to Hawaii in August 2019 as the English Language Ministry Pastor. Prior to serving HCPC Living Stones, the Jung family has served God's people in Stockton, CA, and in Grand Rapids, MI. Pastor Daniel grew up in the Northern California Bay Area, is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, and received his Master of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. A lifelong sports fan, “PD” loves the 49ers, the Chicago Bulls, and Waianae’s own, Max Holloway. If he’s not doing the Lord’s work at HCPC Living Stones, you can often find Pastor Daniel fishing for that dream Ulua on a beach along the Oahu coastline.
As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
